Managers

Simon Corless
This is Si's first year as manager and he is finding the job a little more of a challenge than he first expected. Instead of just pulling the green shirt on he has a lot more on his plate including 14 lads to organise!!

Is looking forward to success in management with LFC having lifted numerous trophies in his time as 1st team skipper.
Pete Ranson
Pete joins Simon as assistant this season after having previously helped out in the 2008-09 season.

Pete comes with much experience, he was part of the team that won the FA Youth Cup with Crystal Palace back in 1977!!! He played in the County League, in the latter part of his playing career, with Three Bridges & Ringmer.

Coached a successful Three Bridges Youth Team from U8's right through to Under 18's from 1996 - 2006 and his experience is very much welcomed by Scorless in the 1st team's quest to regain the honours achieved two years ago.
Simon Battrum
Si has been managing the 2nd team for the last few seasons and has had them promoted twice in successive years.

Was able to convince “her indoors” going on Tour was a good thing, especially as they played golf! He’s never looked back since tackling the robber in Maggers who chased after him with a machete.
Graham Jauns
Having assisted Micky Forman run the 1st team for many year, Jaunsy has decided to support Batts this season.

Jaunsy is acknowledged as being one most our most committed and generous sponsors, having provided the club with a new 1st Team kit for many seasons.
Martyn Pugh
Pughy has been a Swan for over 25 years and was a gifted ball playing centre half until injury cut short a promising career. The highlight of his long career was an 80 yard run, followed by a cultured lob over the keeper, on a boggy day in Ditchling.

Currently 3rd Team Manager and has held this position for a number of years.

During his many years with the club, Pughy has held most posts on the committee. He's also proud to say he can remember the green hut, the old Pavilion and Boxy with Hair!
Martin Theobald
A quiet individual until the Tour of 2003 corrupted him. Mainly played for the 4th team, centre midfield, although prone to injuries in the last couple of seasons. Supporting LFC treasurer, Andy Mowforth, in debt collection and spreadsheet manipulation.

Achieved players player of the year in 2006/7 for the 4th Team

Currently trying to regain some form of fitness and a regular 3rd sub for the team.
John Cunningham
JC came to the club in 1991/92 after 8 years at Franklands Village FC with Mick, our chair and Ben (ex chair). He ran the second team in 94/95 as player manager. He’s won 2nd and 3rd team player of the year. Runners up in the league with the 2nds and 3rds as well as almost winning the mighty Newick 6s (if Pughy hadn't knocked one in his own net in the final). Played c/half most of the time but sneaked up top whenever he could, scored a hat trick for the 3rds at home to Maresfield and at scored least four goals from inside his own half. JC played in goal for the final four seasons of his playing career, as age got the better of him.
JC has run 5th team with Mickey and over the last three seasons has run the 4th team - Freedom Fighters – narrowly missing promotion last season.

Founded the mighty LFC tour in 92, with Mick and Ben and has returned from tour 10 times…

Freedom!
Stacey Martin
Scoring goals is what Stacey does best but this season he is also helping out JC when the Freedom Gaffa cant make the matches due to making cakes or selling old records!!
Matt Middle
A few seasons ago a vacancy came up to run the 5th team – Matt stepped up to the plate and with sponsorship from LM Associates (aka – Matt’s Dad) got the team away to a flying start.

A tour regular and has been seen chasing people out of his room during a ‘toasting’…..
